We were thrilled to be showcased at the recent Plating Up WA, Singapore Edition – celebrating the diverse and plentiful produce of Western Australia on an international stage.
The event brought together Singapore’s best restaurants with Western Australia’s premium producers, the first time this event had been extended to Singapore.
Selecting our product for its superior taste and texture, Hathaway Singapore served up a stunning Octopus Bakar and Sambal Udang, featuring chargrilled king prawns and our naturally tender and delicious Abrolhos Octopus, served alongside winged bean kerabu.
“Our octopus is sourced from Western Australia where they are wild caught around the Houtman Abrolhos Islands. These unique and rare Abrolhos octopuses live almost exclusively off crayfish, leading to a far superior product which is tender and delicious – exactly what you find in our Octopus Bakar.” Hathaway Singapore.
21 Singapore venues took part in the event, a collaboration between Buy West Eat Best, Invest and Trade WA via the Government of WA Singapore Office, and the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.
